Pip Compassion Office Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pip Compassion office assistant must be a Christian for at least one year, believe the company's statement of beliefs and regularly attend the church of which they are a member. Administration and Christian service experience is required. Their character must match Galatians 5:22-23 and they must display Agape Love into their environments. A bachelor degree and experience in administration and/or finances of small and large teams are desired. The assistant should be proficient of Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel and Publisher. Being knowledgeable in money management, grant writing, proposal writing, database management, human resource management, basic marketing and publicity are pluses.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Execute the mission by assisting and supporting the executive staff to accomplish the yearly goals
  • Assist in measuring the success of the company's mission
  • Work within the company using agape love
  • Work within a board approved budget
  • Commit to at least a year of employment
  • Participate in educational programs in a visiting and serving role-such as mentoring, speaking and helping
  • Assist the Executive Director and other staff in a planning and administrative capacity
  • Be willing to raise monthly financial support which contributes to their salary, insurance and ministry expenses
  • Attend weekly and monthly staff meetings, team building activities and job training conferences and seminars
  • Be accountable to God and the Executive Director


Pip Compassion - Volunteers QUALIFICATIONS: Volunteers will assist with serving elderly, single parents and those who are sick with various services; special community events, Spanish/English translators, bible studies, and other community outreaches. Volunteers should have character (based on the Fruit of the Spirit-i.e. Kindness, Patience, etc.). More info on the Pip Compassion Program is at http://pipcompassion.info. Location focus is in the Austin Texas, Pan Am community. Training will be included.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Enjoys working with youth, families and community; and is willing to learn.
  • Develops, presents and assists in coordinating youth, community and ministry activities, projects and programs
  • Works with public and private agencies to enhance program resources
